Hey, Friend!
How often do you jump to conclusions, making assumptions about another’s behavior and the intentions behind that behavior?
What would it look like if, instead, you got curious?
In today’s episode, I am going to share why we make assumptions in the first place, and the damage we cause by doing so.
Then I am going to give you 3 Steps to Unraveling Your Assumptions.
Give it a listen. Then, give it a try and then let me know how it is working for you.

Hey, Friend!
Is your Inner Critic the boss of you? Have you given your Inner Critic the agency to tell you what to do and not do? What is the message of your Inner Critic?
The message of my Inner Critic is one of fear. For too many years, I paid too much attention to my Inner Critic. In her attempt to keep me safe, she also kept me small and insignificant.
In today’s episode, I will share my three-step process to put your Inner Critic in her place, so that she continues to keep you safe, but does not prevent you from taking risks in your life and work, from learning and growing or from having new experiences.
It began when I gave my Inner Critic a name, to separate her from me so that instead of being controlled by my Inner Critic, I became someone who listens to my Inner Critic when I need to be safe.
So, give your Inner Critic a name and hop on over and listen to this episode to learn the three steps.
I pray this blesses you!

Hey, friend!
I’m curious. What is your relationship with Fear?
Does Fear make all of your decisions for you?
Or, is Fear a companion that you entertain when you need to make decisions based on safety?
Can you tell when Fear is trying to keep you small and insignificant?
Do you ever talk back to Fear?
In today’s episode, I am going to share some very specific ways you can stare your Fear in the face so that you can dissolve the hold that Fear has on you. It will require courage, but courage always has an element of Fear, so bring it along!
I pray this blesses you,
Becky

Hey, Friend!
Are you a Baby Boomer? Or maybe you are Gen X, Y, or Z? Today’s episode is about the importance of identifying your value system and how that is influenced by when you were born. It is also influenced by every person who poured into you and every experience you have had.
Your value system is the lens through which you see yourself and the world. Identifying your value system is vital to understanding why you think the way you do, why you feel the way you do, and why you act the way you do.
In those moments when you act in a way that makes you cringe, you can reverse engineer the process and in today’s episode, I will tell you how.
I pray this blesses you,
Becky

Hey, friend!
Have you ever completely blown an apology? Have you ever felt that you didn’t need to apologize because, technically, you didn’t do anything wrong? Are you ever surprised by how others receive your apologies?
If the answer to any of these is, “yes,” then this episode is for you. We all can identify wrong ways to say, “I’m sorry,” but do you know the elements of a good apology? In today’s episode, I am going to give you a way of thinking about an apology that has the ability to transform how you apologize in the future. It sure has for me.
I pray this blesses you!

Hey, friend!
Would others say that you are a person of integrity?
I like this definition of integrity: The consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.
I happen to think that most of us have integrity. That’s not the problem. The problem is when we step outside the boundary of our own integrity.
So, let’s take a look at how integrity is measured, the connection between integrity and credibility, and a simple way to align your conduct to your values. Hint: It involves humility, which happens to be a wonderful quality in a leader.
I pray this blesses you!

Hey friend!
If you have ever thought about writing and publishing your own book, this episode is for you. In it I share the kinds of people you need on your team. That’s right. Although writing is a solitary endeavor, it takes a village to write, publish, launch and promote a book. Even if you have no desire to write, check out this episode to see how you can help someone else have a successful book.
When I say successful book, yes, I am talking about book sales. But that is not the main thing. Whether you are writing fiction that you hope will entertain, or non-fiction, like my book, Come Back Home to You, a book that will help others going through major life transitions, authors write books with the readers in mind. Every book sale indicates another reader, someone who can be potentially be served by the book.
If you have read my book, consider leaving a review on Amazon. This is immensely helpful with the Amazon algorithm in deciding which books to recommend when you type the genre of book you are looking for.
If you have not read or listened to my book, go to Amazon and get your copy. https://a.co/d/hqii4t5
On this episode, I promised to share some of the professionals who helped make my book a reality. Here they are!

Hey, friend!
You read it correctly! It may feel like writing a book is a solo activity but it actually takes a village to publish a book that looks professional inside and out. My village began with my writing/publishing coach, who I talk about in this episode. She provided my accountability and gave me strategies for planning, writing, publishing and promoting the book.
In next week’s episode, I will also share how the rest of my village helped make my dream a reality. This began with friends who served as my initial readers, to my professional editor and graphic designers, all of whom took my manuscript from words on a page to a beautiful book.
If you have ever dreamed of writing a book but don’t know how to get started, this episode is for you!
I pray this blesses you,
Becky

Hey, friend!
What is something you have always dreamed about?
What will it take to make those hopes and dreams come true for you?
Do you have to do it alone?
Can you do it in collaboration, in community with others and share the load?
In today’s episode, I share how I took my lifelong hope and dream of becoming a published author and made it a reality when I was 64 years old by simply rolling up my sleeves and going to work. The bonus was that I did it in collaboration with 13 other women who shared the load.
We wrote a collaborative book that became the first in a trilogy of books by women for women. We also used the royalties from our books to help other women in significant ways, but you will have to listen to this episode to find out what we did. Today’s episode is short, under 10 minutes, but it is my hope that it inspires you to make your hopes and dreams a reality by rolling up your sleeves.
I pray this blesses you,
Becky

Leadership Becomes Her
Simple, Strategic Solutions for Christian Women Who Lead
Do you find yourself in a leadership role at your church or non-profit with the education you need but without leadership training?
Do you ever feel like you don’t have a voice or that your voice is not being heard?
Have you been told that you are too much or not enough?
Do you worry about what others think of you?
Are your secret fears affecting your leadership?
Do you run from conflict at all costs, convincing yourself that you are fine when, clearly, you are not?
Do you put yourself last, postponing any type of self-care because you are trying to take care of and please everyone else?
Have you started to question your calling?
The mission of Leadership Becomes Her is to help Christian women who serve in churches as a vocation or a volunteer, or women who work in non-profits or small business by equipping you to lead with faith, confidence, and purpose. You will learn to own your giftedness while identifying areas of growth in your leadership so you can navigate a path for transforming into the leaders God is calling you to be.
All too often, women who volunteer in churches or non-profits, as well as stay-at-home-moms do not see yourselves as leaders. However, volunteers are often given huge responsibilities by organizations that cannot afford to hire more employees and stay-at-home-moms usually manage the entire household. It is important to note that leadership is not about power, it is about responsibility and women throughout the ages have demonstrated just how responsible they are.
I emphasize foundational leadership skills like: establishing credibility, finding your courage and overcoming fear, building confidence, learning to communicate effectively, and developing strategies for managing conflict in a way that strengthens relationships.
You will learn how to master your mindset and overcome fear
You will develop the toolbox to lead and manage your life, and resolve conflict in a way that builds healthy relationships
