Hey, Friend!
This week, episode 5 of my new podcast:
Leadership Becomes HerSimple, Strategic Solutions for Christian Women Who Lead
is entitled: When You Lead With Fear.
So, listen in and as you do, think about your own relationship with fear. Is fear your valuedpartner that is reminding you to be prepared, or that friend who is keeping you safe because youare not prepared?
Or are you letting fear make your decisions for you? Has fear become your boss?
Are you a leader who allows fear to keep you stuck? Are you unable to move forward and dowhat you know needs to be done?
For some of us, fear is less about what we are about to do and more about who we are. In thisepisode we also explore the trap of the Superwoman Complex. Get ready. This may sting!
But I pray that this blesses you because I know your ultimate desire is to please God and
Superwoman is a myth, not part of His creation!
Becky

Hello, Friend!
This week, in episode 4 of my new podcast:
Leadership Becomes Her:Simple, Strategic Solutions for Christian Women Who Lead
I pose the question: What is Your Relationship With Fear? We all have fear in our lives and fear actually has a purpose. In fact, fear is designed to be your friend until you make it your boss. In this episode, we take a look at what activates fear, and I suggest some simple questions you can ask yourself as you decide if you should listen to fear because it is trying to keep you safe, or not listen to fear because it is trying to keep you stuck.
I encourage you to google scriptures that have to do with fear. There are a ton of them! I chose Isiah 41:10 for this episode.
After listening to this episode, my challenge to you is to examine an area in which you have a lot of fear. Ask yourself a series of questions as suggested in this episode to see if fear is something you should pay attention to or not. I also challenge you to find an area in which you can step outside of your comfort zone. That is where all of the learning and growing takes place. It is where all of the MAGIC happens!!! Then email me and let me know what happened when you took that leap of faith.
I want to help you build a solid foundation upon which your leadership can stand tall.
I pray this blesses you!
Becky

Hey, Friend!
This week, episode 2 of my new podcast:
Leadership Becomes HerSimple, Strategic Solutions for Christian Women Who Lead
Is entitled: When You Lack the Confidence to Get it Done.
Having the confidence to lead is one of the pillars of leadership. In this week’s episode, I breakdown the word confidence - what it means to have confidence in yourself and God, and what itlooks like when you have confidence in others.
The root of confidence is trust and as the leader, if you want others to trust you, you must firsttrust them. There are so many areas in which confidence is essential: casting a vision, communication, delegating tasks, creating systems OR finding others on your team who excelat creating systems, having the hard conversations, and taking risks (to name a few). In fact, Iam hard-pressed to find any responsibility of leadership that doesn’t require a measure ofconfidence!
No matter how many years experience you have as a leader, there is always room for growth. But you must first identify the strengths and weaknesses in your leadership so that you cantarget areas for growth.
So, listen in and as you do, think about the confidence you have (or don’t have) in yourleadership.
I pray this blesses you!Becky

I am a minister and life/leadership coach for Christian women with over 50 years experience in leadership roles in non-profit, small business and ministry. I believe that God has uniquely gifted women to lead and I want to serve women who earnestly want to answer the call, using their gifts, owning their limitations, and prioritizing what really matters to them. Let's do this!

Leadership Becomes Her
Simple, Strategic Solutions for Christian Women Who Lead

Do you find yourself in a leadership role at your church or non-profit with the education you need but without leadership training?

Do you ever feel like you don’t have a voice or that your voice is not being heard?

Have you been told that you are too much or not enough?

Do you worry about what others think of you?

Are your secret fears affecting your leadership?

Do you run from conflict at all costs, convincing yourself that you are fine when, clearly, you are not?
Do you put yourself last, postponing any type of self-care because you are trying to take care of and please everyone else?

Have you started to question your calling?

The mission of Leadership Becomes Her is to help Christian women who serve in churches as a vocation or a volunteer, or women who work in non-profits or small business by equipping you to lead with faith, confidence, and purpose. You will learn to own your giftedness while identifying areas of growth in your leadership so you can navigate a path for transforming into the leaders God is calling you to be.

All too often, women who volunteer in churches or non-profits, as well as stay-at-home-moms do not see yourselves as leaders. However, volunteers are often given huge responsibilities by organizations that cannot afford to hire more employees and stay-at-home-moms usually manage the entire household. It is important to note that leadership is not about power, it is about responsibility and women throughout the ages have demonstrated just how responsible they are.

I emphasize foundational leadership skills like: establishing credibility, finding your courage and overcoming fear, building confidence, learning to communicate effectively, and developing strategies for managing conflict in a way that strengthens relationships.

You will learn how to master your mindset and overcome fear

You will develop the toolbox to lead and manage your life, and resolve conflict in a way that builds healthy relationships
